Angela Posillico: A Force for Gender Equality and Empowerment in the Pageant Industry

Meet Angela Posillico, a multi-talented powerhouse hailing from Hackensack, New Jersey. From a young age, Angela showcased her musical abilities by participating in her local school systems and acapella choir. Her talents did not go unnoticed, as Reader’s Digest recognized her as a gifted singer and awarded her with a scholarship to attend the prestigious Juilliard School of Music. But Angela’s passions don’t stop there – she is also dedicated to fostering empowerment among women and has a varied history in pageantry and other fields. She went on to get a master’s degree in operatic studies and participate in a variety of telethons and concerts, often serving as the opening act for well-known artists including Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, Joey Bishop, and Jackie Gail. This experience brought her into the world of pageants, where she competed and won the titles of Mrs. New Jersey Globe and Miss New Jersey USA. She even became the director for the East Coast and New Jersey for the Mrs. Globe association for a period of five years. All of this was made possible thanks to the opportunities that this experience afforded her.

Her work in the pageant industry, along with her ongoing involvement with women, earned her recognition from the White House, as well as President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, who presented her with a lifetime achievement award for empowering women. This award was presented to her in recognition of her efforts to advance the status of women. She presently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Ms. International World & Ms. Latina International and is actively involved in efforts to promote women’s empowerment and increase the number of opportunities available to them within the pageant business.

In addition to her present responsibilities, Posillico has lofty ambitions for the growth of her company. Among them are the organization of two beauty pageants, one of which will take place in Las Vegas, and a position as an ambassador with the United Nations. She is also resolute in getting her name etched in Congress and walking through the White House before the conclusion of the present administration.
