He lives in Montreal, is a citizen of Canada but of French/ Georgian descent- his songs represent exactly that: a mix of North American freedom and funk with a certain European stylized “slick”… No wonder NYC, Chicago, all Florida big cities and Cali love him! And he’s always releasing something, too- revealing more and more of himself, song after song!
Well, he is now out with a super funky, neo-disco pop album “Hot Damn!” that will have you bouncing and strutting well into 2025. From title track “Hot Damn” a mood picker-upper dedicated to those who are having a hard day, to “No Answer’s Not An Answer” and “Nothing Can Bring Me Down” tracks I can only describe as “emotional nudity poured onto dance/pop catchy riffs”, followed by an homage to his grandfather “So Special- Johnny”, and ending with a disco-gospel inspirational chant that comes down to a very simple conclusion when facing adversity “You cry, then you pick yourself up, keep going” with more gems in between- you are bound to play this intoxicating album on repeat.
