Sheinelle Jones is talking out following the demise of her husband, Uche Ojeh. The “Today” present co-host shared a put up on her official Instagram account shortly after her colleagues introduced the information on-air.
“Thank you, for all of your love and support,” Jones, 47, wrote to her followers on Friday.
Ojeh, whose full identify was Uchechukwuka Adenola Ojeh, died at 45 after a battle with most cancers.
The message additionally included the video of her NBC household addressing Ojeh’s demise on NBC.
“With profound sadness, we share this morning that Uche Ojeh, the husband of our friend and Today co-host Sheinelle Jones, has passed away after a courageous battle with an aggressive form of brain cancer called glioblastoma,” Savannah Guthrie stated.
“There are no words for the pain we feel for Sheinelle and their three young children. Uche was an incredible person,” Guthrie, 53, continued. “We all loved him. And so we want to take a moment to tell you more about the remarkable man who was Sheinelle’s perfect partner in life.”

Guthrie revealed the information alongside Jenna Bush Hager, Al Roker, Calvin Melvin, Carson Daly and Dylan Dreyer.
Jones has not appeared on the “Today” present since December 2024, noting on the time that she was tending to a household well being matter.
