A whole bunch attended the 2nd Annual San Jose Cinco de Mayo Parade and Pageant in San Jose on Sunday.
The free family-friendly pageant featured meals distributors, artisan cubicles, dwell leisure, a lowrider automotive present and extra. Folks gathered at Emma Prusch Farm Park after the parade.
Cinco de Mayo started as a commemoration of Mexico’s victory over French forces within the Battle of Puebla in 1862, but it surely has morphed right into a celebration of Mexican-American satisfaction. The occasion was sponsored by the United Lowrider Council of San Jose and the workplace of Metropolis Councilmember Peter Ortiz.
