The clip of Knicks captain Jalen Brunson and Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton coming head to head in a wrestling ring final June started popping up throughout social media to the tune of WWE predicting the matchup with a visit to the NBA Finals at stake.
There was Brunson, facet by facet with L.A. Knight, chasing the brass-knuckles-wearing Haliburton — along with his “Tyrese 3:17” shirt — and Logan Paul out of Madison Sq. Backyard. As Brunson tells him, “You’ve been soft,” whereas he leaves, Haliburton says, “I’ll be back. You don’t want to see me again.”
Simply hours after the Knicks sport ended, Paul posted a TikTok of the confrontation to X, telling Haliburton to “Finish the story” like Cody Rhodes did at WrestleMania 40.
