Karma’s a relaxing thought, according to Taylor Swift.
While performing at the Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia during her “Eras” Tour on Saturday night, Swift was caught on video appearing to call out a security guard while she was in the middle of performing.
Swift could be heard yelling out, “She wasn’t doing anything,” at a security guard, while concert-goers alleged that the bouncers were being a bit forceful when trying to get people to move off of the barricade.
Swift also said, “Hey! Stop!” and “She’s fine!” during the moment.
Now, a woman who The Daily Mail has identified as Kelly Inglis Kelly from Baltimore, Maryland, alleged that she was the one who Swift was calling out to during the viral moment.
She spoke out in a TikTok video posted on Sunday under the username @caityg33 – using her best friend’s account to tell the story, they clarified in a follow-up clip.
“Ok, I was the girl that Taylor talked to last night,” Kelly alleged. “Basically, the guard had been, like, harassing our group all night… he just kept telling us not to touch the rail and every time we did anything, he was like, on top of us.”
She continued, claiming, “We’re dancing, having fun, he didn’t like it, and Taylor noticed that I was having fun and that he didn’t like it, and she didn’t like it, and then he basically, like, got escorted out and then they offered us free tickets for tonight.”
However, although the incident has since made headlines, Kelly maintained that the whole thing really wasn’t that big of a deal.
“It wasn’t this big crazy thing, it was just like a bunch of girls having a good time and he didn’t want us to have fun,” she said in the clip.
The attendee also clarified to The Daily Mail that the guard did not “physically touch them” during the evening.
The Post reached out to Kelly as well as reps for Taylor and the Lincoln Financial Field for further comment.
In another TikTok video made by Kelly – this time on her own account which she credited her friend for helping her make – she said that she had been a fan of the star since she was 17 years old.
She thanked the star for being so attentive to her and the other fans last night.
“The fact that you did that for me last night, and you stood up for me, meant so, so, so, so much and like, I can’t even explain, like, you did that for me, and for your fans, and if there’s anything I know about you, you just want your fans to go to the show and have fun, and that’s all we were doing,” Kelly said.
She continued, seemingly holding back tears, “It truly, truly meant so much to us that you did that, and to everybody. That you would stop to say something, and it was my 13th show, on the 13th, and I just feel like it was really cool.”
Swift’s “Eras” Tour, which kicked off in Arizona on March 17, is the first since her “Reputations” tour in 2018.
In the follow-up clip posted on her friend’s TikTok, the two were on their way back to Philadelphia from Baltimore to hear Swift sing one more time with their alleged free tickets.
Later this month, she will be performing at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, and MetLife stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey – but won’t be making a stop in The Big Apple – as of now, at least.
While Swift was performing in Philadelphia this weekend, one fan spotted Matt Healy, the lead “1975” singer and her rumored new romance, at the concert.
In April, multiple outlets reported that Swift and her boyfriend of six years, Joe Alwyn, had broken up.
