Say it ain’t so.
The spouse of Weezer bassist Scott Shriner was allegedly shot and struck by cops and has been booked for tried homicide.
The alleged incident went down within the Los Angeles neighborhood of Eagle Rock on Tuesday, April 8.

Based on TMZ, LAPD officers responded to a hit-and-run on a freeway, and three suspects fled the scene on foot, with one climbing over the embankment and working by a close-by residential road.
The suspect allegedly tried to mix in with the locals by eradicating a few of his clothes, however his plan was reportedly foiled by Scott’s spouse, Jillian Lauren.
As officers started searching for the suspect and shutting off streets, Lauren reportedly exited her dwelling with a gun in her hand and started firing, presumably making an attempt to hit the suspect.
Police yelled for her to drop the gun — and when she didn’t, they opened hearth, reported TMZ.
The musician’s spouse was allegedly struck in her shoulder.
The outlet reported she has since been booked for tried homicide.
The Submit has reached out to Weezer and Lauren’s reps and the LAPD for remark.
It is a growing story…
