A army Humvee towing a trailer careened off Interstate 90 in Bellevue, Washington, Saturday, crashing over a retaining wall and touchdown on a road under, in accordance with the Washington State Patrol.
The crash occurred on eastbound I-90 close to the Eastgate neighborhood, when the car drifted to the best for unknown causes and exited the freeway.
It then crossed a grassy shoulder and dropped roughly 30 toes onto Southeast thirty eighth St., Trooper Rick Johnson advised Fox Information Digital.
“This Humvee Tonic Trailer was traveling eastbound on Interstate 90 and drifted right for some reason,” Johnson stated. “We don’t really know (the) reason, and (it) left the freeway across like a little grass area and then went over a wall … down onto one of the surface streets below.”
Two individuals within the army car had been taken to a hospital with minor accidents.
No different autos had been concerned within the crash.
Johnson stated the pair had been possible taken to Overlake Medical Middle, the closest main hospital within the space, although he couldn’t affirm the precise hospital.
“The sergeant at the scene told me that they were minor injuries, but … the fire department really suggests you go get checked out,” Johnson defined.
The army car was a part of a convoy believed to be en path to the Yakima Coaching Middle in central Washington, a standard vacation spot through I-90. Johnson famous the Humvee was “pretty damaged.”
Pictures shared by Johnson on X confirmed the aftermath of the crash and the steep drop from the freeway to the road under.

He stated there was no video footage out there presently, and no dashcam clips had been submitted to the company.
