The podcast host admitted that her 39-year-old ex “should have done a lot of work on himself” earlier than they began relationship in August 2023.
“I feel like men always get the bad rap in relationships. It’s always, ‘Men do this, that, whatever.’ Well, we, as women, can also cause a lot of destruction along the way. It’s just the truth of the matter. And that’s what she did,” Chrisley stated.
“She caused a lot of destruction, and she absolutely destroyed a great man. She destroyed him.”
Lindsay, alongside along with her Bahamian lover Terrance Bethel, is accused of plotting to rent alleged hitman Faron Newbold Jr. to kill Robert in July 2023.
The pair’s ill-fated 13-year marriage hit main roadblocks when Robert accused Lindsay of getting an affair whereas she accused him of “physical and mental cruel treatment.”
Police say they stumbled upon a plan to kill Robert whereas looking Bethel’s telephone in an investigation over an unrelated housebreaking at a bar on Nice Guana Cay within the Bahamas.
Lindsay, Bethel and Newbold had been arrested in July 2023. They pleaded not responsible to all prices.
“She had to stay in the Bahamas for a while and while she was there, life was great,” Chrisley stated. “We were in our routines with not only Robert and I, but also the kids. There was no drama. It was a drama-free zone.”
Lindsay was launched from Nassau’s infamous Fox Hill jail after posting $100,000 bail in August 2023.
Chrisley, for her half, identified that her relationship with Robert took a flip when Lindsay returned from the Bahamas earlier this 12 months and tried to “destroy everything” in her path.
“When she would come back to the US, not only did she come back but the chaos came back with her,” Chrisley claimed. “It’s like she wanted to destroy everything in [Robert’s] path, her path, everyone. There was never a sense of care for another individual except for herself.”
The fact star accused Lindsay of leaking data to the media.
“She didn’t want me in the picture,” Chrisley stated. “There was a time to where she tried to get the courts to say I wasn’t allowed around the children.”
The wonder entrepreneur added that Lindsay’s “chaos” was an excessive amount of for Robert to deal with.
Chrisley believed she entered Robert’s life when he wanted “hope,” and her goal was to remind him that “there can be love after chaos.”
Lindsay’s trial is about for August 2025.
