Sarah Silverman is airing out her household’s soiled laundry.
The comic, 54, informed Rolling Stone that her grandfather was allegedly accountable for her 3-month-old brother Jeffrey’s tragic demise.
“I’m going to tell you a big bomb,” Silverman informed the outlet in an interview revealed Sunday.
“The story was that something happened with the crib, and Jeffrey’s little body slid and he got suffocated,” Silverman recalled of her brother’s passing.
“But if you look back,” she added, “there was never a lawsuit with the crib company or anything.”
The “School of Rock” actress was born after her brother died whereas within the care of their paternal grandparents, Max and Rose.
Silverman recalled that her father, Donald Silverman, informed her the reality about Jeffrey’s demise in 2022 when he got here to New York Metropolis to see her carry out her autobiographical stage present, “Bedwetter,” which included a joke concerning the tragedy.
“My dad says, ‘I always felt that he was crying or something, and my dad [Max] shook him,’” Silverman shared. “‘He shook him in a rage and killed him.’”

“As soon as he said it, it was like, ‘Of course, that’s what happened,’” Silverman mentioned. “His mother always stood by her husband. She watched him beat the s–t out of her son. I couldn’t ask my mom, because she was dead.”
“That was my dad,” she continued. “We were playing poker once, and he just dropped in that one of the priests at his school fondled him. I was like ‘Dad!’”
Silverman added: “He was always dropping bombs.”
Silverman’s father died in Could 2023, one yr after he informed Silverman how her brother allegedly handed.
“My best pal, Schleppy – my dad, died last night,” she wrote on Instagram with photographs of the pair when she shared the tragic information. “All the sisters, and grandkids surrounded him with love and singing and very dark f—ed up jokes this final week.”
