Mercedes-Benz plans to start producing a brand new automobile at its plant close to Tuscaloosa, Ala., in 2027, the corporate stated Thursday, the newest in a sequence of investments carmakers have introduced following President Trump’s aggressive auto tariffs.
The German automaker didn’t disclose which automobile it will add to its Tuscaloosa plant, solely saying it will be a “core vehicle segment” that will “deepen its commitment to the US”
