Jill Sobule, singer of the ground-breaking 1995 hit “I Kissed a Girl,” has tragically died.
The musician and songwriter perished in a Minneapolis home fireplace early Thursday morning, her rep confirmed to Selection. Sobule was 66.

She grew to become a family identify with “I Kissed a Girl,” which is broadly seen because the first brazenly gay-themed tune to make it into the Billboard High 20.
Millennials will know Sobule for her music “Supermodel,” which was featured within the 1995 coming-of-age teen basic movie “Clueless.”
