Anne Burrell embraced comedy the evening earlier than her stunning loss of life.
The 55-year-old chef carried out an improv present at The Second Metropolis New York in Brooklyn on Monday evening. She was discovered useless at her residence in Brooklyn the next day.

The Second Metropolis posted a tribute to Burrell following information of her loss of life on Tuesday.
“We’re are deeply saddened by the loss of our friend and student, Anne Burrell,” the venue wrote. “She will be missed and remembered as a vibrant part of our Second City New York Training Center community. Anne brought joy, boldness, and an unwavering ‘yes, and’ spirit. Her enthusiasm was contagious, her presence unforgettable. Our thoughts go out to Anne’s family and loved ones.”

The New York Metropolis Police Division confirmed that Burrell was discovered “unconscious and unresponsive” and pronounced useless at her residence in Brooklyn.
The reason for loss of life has but to be confirmed. The Workplace of Chief Medical Examiner will conduct an post-mortem.
Burrell’s household confirmed her loss of life in an emotional assertion.
“Anne was a beloved wife, sister, daughter, stepmother, and friend — her smile lit up every room she entered,” their assertion learn.
The household added that Burrell’s “light radiated far beyond those she knew, touching millions across the world. Though she is no longer with us, her warmth, spirit, and boundless love remain eternal.”
The Meals Community remembered Burrell with a touching tribute as effectively.
