A lightning strike hit a home in Southern California Tuesday, startling a mother and her two youngsters who had been standing simply toes away.
Tiffanie Buckner was recording the lightning as storms had been rolling in, as she and her youngsters had been about to go inside, she instructed Storyful.
Her 6-year-old daughter, Penelope, was standing in entrance of the digital camera the second a big lightning bolt hit a residence within the cul-de-sac behind her.
Instantly, Penelope, Buckner and Buckner’s son all screamed and ran towards the digital camera.
“It was different than the normal lightning we receive that just lights up the sky,” Buckner instructed Storyful.
She mentioned she was recording the video to indicate her mother and husband.
“The sound was so loud and immediate that it made us all jump and sent the kids in running,” she mentioned.
Buckner mentioned regardless of the scare, Penelope wasn’t afraid for lengthy, and requested to return exterior as soon as the rain began.
“Of course, the answer was no,” Buckner mentioned. “But kids were OK and loved the storm and have an amazing story to tell.”
