Titans head coach Brian Callahan is happy with what he’s seen from quarterbacks Cam Ward and Will Levis this spring.
Chatting with reporters Tuesday, the second-year Titans coach mapped out his offseason plan for the quarterback competitors between Ward, the primary general decide on this 12 months’s draft, and the turnover-prone Levis, with the pair splitting the reps.
“I’ve been pleased with their demeanor and their approach. Will has done a really nice job of getting better at things he needed to get better at. I’ve felt pretty good about his offseason work and how he has come back. Cam has done a really nice job of integrating himself… They’ve both done a really nice job getting up to speed, where they needed to,” Callahan stated.
As Ward and Levis proceed their progressions this offseason, Callahan — trying to depart an atrocious 3-14 marketing campaign within the rearview — shared of the plan, “It will change probably a little bit when we get to the OTAs and we have 7-on-7 and some teamwork and stuff like that.”
