Priscilla Pointer — who starred in a number of movies alongside her real-life daughter, actress Amy Irving — has died on the age of 100.
The actress, who was identified for her position in “Dallas” and taking part in Irving’s on-screen mother in “Carrie,” handed away on Monday at an assisted residing facility in Ridgefield, Connecticut.
Amy’s brother, director David Irving, confirmed the small print to The Hollywood Reporter on Tuesday, April 29.

Pointer starred as Rebecca Barnes Wentworth, the mother of Victoria Principal’s character, Pamela Barnes Ewing, on the legendary ’80s cleaning soap opera “Dallas.”
Her time on the present led to 1983 throughout the sixth season when the household jet her character was driving on collided with one other aircraft whereas within the air.
