Alleged MS-13 member Kilmar Abrego-Garcia, who was deported by the Trump administration to El Salvador’s infamous mega-prison, was beforehand accused of bodily abusing his spouse who has been fiercely advocating for his launch.
Garcia’s spouse, Jennifer Vasquez, utilized for a protecting order in opposition to her husband in 2021, saying he punched, scratched, grabbed and bruised her, based on court docket paperwork.
The Division of Homeland Safety shared Vazquez’s allegations on X, saying it’s proof Garcia “had a history of violence and was not the upstanding ‘Maryland Man’ the media has portrayed him as.”
“This MS-13 gang member is not a sympathetic figure,” DHS mentioned.
